Ever since I can remember, I have been a true animal lover. In high school I started volunteering at the Boulder Humane Society and this opened my eyes up to all different breeds and personalities. Here is where I realized that each animal has its very own unique energy levels, needs and quirks. In my early twenties I began working for local pet rescues aiding in transporting, adopting and fostering. I knew that spending time with animals was my true passion!
My very own pup Skylar is handicapped and in a wheelchair, so I have experience with special needs animals. Being in a wheelchair doesn't stop him at all! His attitude towards life helps me keep a great perspective and gratitude. For Skylar's care I was inspired to seek out alternative treatments to help his condition and became a certified Reiki Energy Practitioner in the process. I believe this has helped me grow as a person, and gain a more insightful and deeper understanding of animals and their wellbeing.

I'm a recent graduate of NYU with a degree in Applied Psychology from Boulder, Colorado. I've had dogs my entire life and have been working with them professionally for over three years. Having worked as one of Longmont Humane Society's Training and Behavior Specialists, I am comfortable handling and training dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments. I love all dogs, but the pups who need a little extra guidance will always be my favorites! I am currently working on my CPDT and CBC(C) certifications and I specialize in challenging behaviors such as reactivity, fearfulness, resource guarding and more.
Outside of working with dogs, I am an avid nature lover, soccer fan, and traveler! I am extremely passionate about helping dogs and their people be as happy and healthy as possible together and I hope that I can help you and your pup be the best duo you can be!
